Welcome to the "Forging Creative Futures" conference—a unique event for school leaders aiming to deepen their understanding of leadership in the age of AI. This conference focuses on how leaders can maintain human connection and leverage AI thoughtfully to drive learning, team building, collaboration, and community development.
Through presentations, panels, round tables, and networking opportunities, this event will help you and your peers develop the collective skills needed to navigate AI's challenges and opportunities. You will engage in interactive sessions centered on teamwork and collaborative problem-solving, exploring how AI can support your school’s strategic goals while fostering a culture of innovation and creativity. Whether you're just starting to consider AI's impact or refining an existing approach, the emphasis will be on building human-centered leadership that ensures your schools are prepared for the future.
The conference will feature two globally recognized keynote speakers, along with workshop sessions led by educational leaders and peer presenters. Additionally, there will be planning sessions dedicated to Sports Leaders, focusing on enhancing student experiences in sports competition and exchanges.

Luisa Wang

Microsoft (China)
Luisa Wang has 18 years of experience in the enterprise IT field and is an experienced technology leader. She has worked at renowned enterprise software companies such as Oracle China and Salesforce Hong Kong, holding key positions such as VP of Sales, Product Manager, and Channel Consultant. Since 2008, she has been involved in the SaaS field and is one of China's first cloud users and advocates. She has a deep understanding of the Greater China market and a strong grasp of leading industry clients, particularly in the pharmaceutical, high-tech, and manufacturing sectors. She has participated in over 500 enterprise software projects and has provided valuable insights into customers' digital transformation.
In 2019, she joined Microsoft China, where she was responsible for partner strategy development in the All-Channel Division, collaborating with ISV partners to build the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, enabling technological innovation, and supporting customers in successful transformations. As a mentor to Microsoft startups, she has guided hundreds of entrepreneurs in planning successful business strategies. She was nominated and selected for the 2022 CRN Women of the Channel list, which recognizes outstanding women for their strategic vision, thought leadership, and advocacy in the channel, driving global growth and innovation.
Since July 2023, she has taken on the role of General Manager of Education and Healthcare in Microsoft's Public Sector in China, overseeing national strategies, sales execution, and market positioning in the education and healthcare sectors. Her clients include all public and private educational institutions, international schools, public and private healthcare organizations, as well as education and healthcare technology companies. She has particularly advanced AI innovation and adoption in EdTech companies, achieving more than double cloud performance growth. She has a unique and profound understanding of AI's transformative impact on education.

Marlon Devonish MBE OLY
Olympic Champion, Athletic Coach

Marlon Devonish is renowned for his illustrious career as a professional sprinter for Great Britain, spanning over two decades. He competed in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay, achieving remarkable success as a European, Commonwealth, and World Indoor Champion, proudly representing his country. With an astonishing tally of 18 medals, Marlon stands as Great Britain's most decorated male athlete. Notably, he was part of the legendary quartet that clinched the Gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Throughout his athletic journey, Marlon received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Member of the British Empire (MBE) honour, which he shared with his esteemed teammates Jason Gardener, Darren Campbell, and Mark Lewis-Francis. Additionally, he has been bestowed with honorary degrees from Coventry and Warwick Universities, recognising his unwavering dedication and longevity in his sport.
Following his official retirement from athletics in 2013, Marlon established a reputable speed consultancy business, primarily working with professional football and rugby players to enhance their sprinting abilities. Concurrently, he served as a business coach for the German company Rixcom, leveraging his knowledge and experience in the pursuit of high performance. His expertise has taken him to a multitude of international destinations, including Australia, India, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
About the Host School
The Harrow International School and Harrow Li De Haikou (AISL Harrow Haikou) are key projects for the Hainan government. Harrow Haikou is the first world-renowned educational brand in the province and will transform the understanding of high-quality education across the region. Harrow Haikou provides PK-Y13 international and bilingual education for foreign and local day and boarding students with a maximum capacity of 1,800 students, including 210 boarders.
The school's design fully embraces Harrow's requirement to put the students first when considering facilities. The generous space of the campus allows the students to explore their learning in a safe and clean outdoor environment, both within and beyond the taught curriculum. Harrow Haikou represents an extraordinary step forward in bilingual and international education for boarding and day students in south-eastern China. The school sets a new benchmark for innovative, holistic and values-driven education in the region. The product of LiDe education is to cultivate learners who can utilise and transition between Chinese and English at a social, cultural and technical level to develop a bilingual mind. There are two pathways, LiDe and HIS students will at some points be on one pathway (Early Years/Pre-Prep) and split at other points in Upper School. All leading to iGCSEs and A levels.
